HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR
Immediate opening for experienced heavy equipment operator(s) with a minimum 3-5 years’ experience operating excavators, dozers, blades, loaders, skid steers and other pieces of heavy equipment.
$28-32 - Pay depending on experience levels.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Ability to operate efficiently and safely.
Able to get off the machine and work when needed.
Conduct routine mobile equipment inspections and assure normal operation of the equipment.
Perform all duties within safety guidelines set up by M.S.H.A. and company policy.
Must be able to work with little supervision; must be self-directed.
Good critical thinking skills with the ability to observe and assess situations and anticipate issues before they occur.
Strong attention to detail.
Employee may be required to work in environments that may include exposure to extreme temperatures, humidity, dust, and noise.
Keep worksite clean and organized free from unnecessary hazards.
Load and unload equipment and materials.
Experience working a mining/industrial environment a plus.
Requirements
Flexibility to stay late when necessary with little or no notice.
Must have reliable transportation and be dependable.
Pass pre-employment, random, post-accident, and reasonable suspicion drug screens (including Marijuana)
Valid Driver’s License.
