Dispatcher Duties
Consistently check HouseCall Pro (software we use for scheduling and customer communications) , emails and voicemails for customer and tech messages.
1. Scheduling Appointments: Coordinating and scheduling service calls for plumbers based
on availability, location, and urgency.
2. Customer Communication: Interacting with customers to confirm appointments, provide
updates, and address inquiries or concerns. Following up on estimates.
3. Dispatching Technicians: Assigning jobs to plumbing technicians based on their skills and
expertise, ensuring efficient use of resources.
4. Tracking Job Progress: Monitoring the status of service calls and ensuring that
technicians are on schedule.
5. Handling Emergencies: Prioritizing urgent service requests and dispatching technicians
quickly to address emergencies.
6. Maintaining Records: Keeping accurate records of service requests, technician
assignments, and job completions.
7. Coordinating with Techs: Communicating with techs for parts and equipment
needed for specific jobs. Make sure notes are entered if waiting on parts or equipment to do the job.
8. Managing Invoicing and Payments: Assisting with billing procedures and ensuring that
payment is collected for services rendered.
9. Reporting and Analysis: Analyzing service data to improve efficiency and customer
Satisfaction.
10.Update your knowledge on Housecall Pro: Must be always watching videos and learning through Housecall Pro app database.
These duties require strong organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to
multitask in a fast-paced environment.
