OFFICE ASSISTANT
Seeking caring, organized, grounded individual to provide part-time office support for local acupuncturist.
Part-time position to start, 12-18 hours a week, with possibility of increased hours in the future.
Requirements:
Customer service experience
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
Observant, organized, and able to create an supportive environment for practitioners and patients
Desire & ability to help people feel comfortable and appreciated
Ease in following directions
Attention to detail
Computer literate. Macintosh and Quickbooks experience helpful
Motivated, calm, compassionate, self-directed and self-managing
Interest in holistic medicine, herbs, and alternative healing modalities welcomed
Duties To Include:
Greeting and rooming patients
Disinfecting and readying rooms between patients
Working in the herb dispensary, accurately mixing and documenting herbal prescriptions
Checking patients out, creating invoices in QB and accepting payments.
Inventory
Ordering
Manage schedule, set appointments
Communicate with patients & vendors by phone, text and email
Light Cleaning
File Maintenance
Light bookkeeping
Other Opportunities Depending on Skill Set
Organizing and writing SOP manual
Creating office forms and procedures
Assisting with marketing, SEO, Website, etc
For the right person, this position has the potential of evolving into a full-time Office Manager or Administrative Director position.
