Provides bookkeeping, administrative and coordination support for a General Contractor in Prescott. Knowledge of general accounting practices, accounts payable & receivables, payroll, bank reconciliations preferred. Maintain financial records including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. Verifying that transactions are recorded for the correct supplier, ledger, customer ledger and general ledger. Processing accounts payable and receivable payments. Balances accounts by reconciling entries. Process weekly payroll and associated payroll taxes. Perform office work related to the general business operations of the business. Be able to exercise discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance. Answering incoming calls and routing them to the appropriate person in the office, voice mail, or the proper jobsite. Provides mail services including opening, mail pick-ups and deliveries, sorting and posting outgoing mail and distributing. Create, organize, and maintain hardcopy filing systems. Assist with special projects as assigned. Manage the accounting system, General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Payroll. Filing A/P and keeping A/P files current.
