Administrative/Training Assistant Position
Job Summary / Overview:
Administrative back up and will assist in providing training support services in various settings from a new hire, to peer member, as well as, in the community. Educate and provide services in advancing recovery, as well as, backing up the administrative team. This is a low stress and life balanced position with a small non-profit.
Position overview statement:
This is responsible work in the field of behavioral health to assist in providing back up peer support training and support the administrative staff.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
New Hire Training
Generate new hire training matrix and send to new hire, along with instructions for accessing initial online training (as directed by supervisor).
Enroll new hire in appropriate trainings on training site: nazcaretraining.org
Enroll new hires in the appropriate Relias online training, send Relias instructions and monitor.
Other duties:
Support field trainers.
Assist or facilitate for other trainers.
Work collaboratively with the NAZCARE management team.
Assure the implementation and facilitation of training programs, goals, objectives and outcomes.
Provide input for staff and the Training Team.
Periodic assistance as a Peer Support Specialist that will utilize and teach problem solving techniques to individuals and/or groups;
discussions will be applied where peers will share common problems in daily living (life skills) and what methods can be used to
manage and cope with these problems.
Be able to share what skills, strengths, supports and resources can be used.
Build an understanding of boundaries.
Administrative Duties:
Compliance filing. printing and copying.
Assist the bookkeeping department.
Assist in preparing for events as needed.
Running office errands in company vehicle.
May Assist with ADOT and Fleet Management.
Skill:
Be able to maintain confidentiality for filing and other confidential information.
Have attention to detail and proven organizational skills.
The ability to communicate with various administrative staff throughout the day.
Prioritize staff requests and tasks.
Complete tasks as assigned in a quality manner and update staff on status.
Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Education / Certifications:
High School Diploma or GED minimum
Teaching and training skills background a plus.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Minimum Qualifications:
Clear a background check and be free of major criminal offenses.
A current and valid Arizona driver’s license.
If in recovery, must be stable for over one year.
Pass a drug test.
Verified legal status to work in the United States.
