Job Description
We are searching for an experienced CNC Laser Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in sheet metal fabrication, a detail-oriented mindset, and a drive to maintain high quality standards in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC laser cutting machines based on project requirements and technical drawings
- Select and adjust machine parameters (e.g., power, speed, focus) to optimize material cutting
- Inspect materials before and after cutting to ensure products meet tight tolerances and quality standards
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure the machine runs efficiently
- Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment
- Collaborate with team members to continuously improve production processes and efficiency
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience operating CNC laser cutting machines in a sheet metal fabrication environment
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical specifications
- Familiarity with various metals, thicknesses, and cutting parameters
- Proficiency with measuring tools (calipers, gauges, etc.)
- Solid understanding of best practices in safety and quality control
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are a plus
