Line Cook
Dinner Bell Cafe is a small, local, family owned and operated restaurant in Prescott, AZ. We are looking for a professional, hard-working, and dedicated Line Cook for the preparation of food and to work as part of a team. The ideal candidate will be a team player who will enjoy working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Responsibilities
Memorize menu quickly to facilitate efficient plate preparation.
Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, preparing meat, or cooking a new recipe).
Set up stations with all necessary equipment.
Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.
Clean up station and properly take care of leftover food.
Stock kitchen inventory.
Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and on time.
Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards.
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.
Deep clean kitchen as scheduled.
Work Experience
Proven experience as line cook (2 years +)
Excellent culinary skills with a wide range of ingredients and techniques
Food handling knowledge (peeling, cutting etc.) required
