THIS IS AN IMMEDIATE OPPORTUNITY. We offer a four-day work week (Thu-Sun), FREE employee meals/beverages and competitive compensation based on experience and performance. We are seeking dedicated and experienced COOKS to join our team. Ideal candidates will bring culinary passion, attention to detail, and a commitment to consistently delivering exceptional dishes to our guests.

Responsibilities include:

- Prepare and execute menu items according to our recipes, presentation standards, and quality guidelines.

- Interpersonal skills to collaborate and communicate effectively with staff to ensure timely and efficient food preparation during service.

- Set up workstations, maintain a clean and organized kitchen including refrigerators & walk-in coolers while adhering to all food safety and sanitation standards.

- Prep cook, line cook, portion control and maintaining appropriate stock levels.

- Contribute creative ideas for menu items including daily and seasonal specials.

- Be able to adapt to high-pressure situations and busy service periods with a calm demeanor, willingness to learn and positive attitude

- Follow recipes, including measuring, weighing and mixing ingredients

- Bake, grill, sauté, steam, fry and/or boil meats, vegetables, seafood, poultry

- Present, garnish and arrange final dishes

- Accountability for the dishes you prepare

- Accommodate guests’ special requests

- Operate & clean commercial kitchen equipment such as ovens, refrigerated tables, deli slicer, grills and fryers

- Execute opening and closing procedures including associated janitorial duties

Qualifications:

- Proven restaurant cooking experience including breakfast, lunch & dinner.

- Strong culinary skills and expert knowledge of cooking techniques.

- Attention to detail in cleanliness, safety, presentation, flavor, and consistency.

- Food Protection Manager certification

- Patience and customer-oriented approach

- Responsible, reliable, motivated, self-starter who can work under pressure as a team of two in a fast-paced small commercial kitchen
