OverviewWe are offering $10K in relocation to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.As our Physical Therapist at Dignity Health Yavapai Regional Medical Center, you’re always ready for the next task. Our physical therapists see between 8 to 10 patients daily for initial evaluations, re-evaluations, or treatments. We have 45-minute sessions 1:1 with patients. Our therapists perform most treatments themselves. You’ll work with a variety of backgrounds - orthopedic injury or surgery recovery, traumatic brain injury, stroke, or conditions affecting balance, to name a few. This environment is busy and fast-paced but full of collaborative and supportive team members willing to offer help, advice, or mentoring at any time.To thrive as a physical therapist, you must be a team player. You’ll constantly collaborate with other therapists, patients, and their families to seek the best possible treatment outcome. You should be personable, positive, and motivated to provide quality care to a wide variety of patients every dayDignity Health now offers an Education Benefit program for benefit-eligible employees after 180 days. This program provides debt relief and student loan assistance to help you achieve your goals. Full-time employees can receive up to $18,000 over five years, while part-time employees can receive up to $9,000. Advanced Practice Providers and Faculty Physicians can receive up to $90,000 if full-time and hired within a year of completing their residency or fellowship. Work with a multidisciplinary team of physicians and therapists to develop and execute a treatment plan for each patient

Perform initial patient evaluations as well as re-evaluations to indicate the level of progress

Document all treatments and note any status changes

Tailor treatments to individual patients as needed - don’t be afraid to think creatively or do a little extra

Seek new learning opportunities and be a resource when others need to learn from you

Consistently offer the best care possible to every patient

QualificationsMinimum

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program required

Internship or rotation in appropriate clinical setting required

Licensed by AZ State Board of Physical Therapy as a Physical Therapist

American Heart Association Basic Life Support certificate

Computer skills required

Preferred

Master's or Doctorate degree in appropriate clinical area preferred

2 years progressive experience in clinical area, performing patient clinical care preferred

Prior use of electronic health record preferred
