Leading edge civil engineering design firm is seeking a Civil 3D Designer to assist in the preparation of civil engineering construction documents for commercial land development projects in California and beyond.
Responsibilities include the preparation of grading and drainage plans, wet utility plans, and street plans using Autodesk Civil 3D. Other functions include research, responding to plan check corrections, and collaboration with agency staff and peers.
This is a work-from-home position. The position may, however, require occasional travel to job sites and agency offices.

Qualified applicants must be able to demonstrate the following:
Professional Experience: Minimum 2 years of progressive experience in commercial land development engineering drafting and design (civil/site design) in California markets. Architectural and structural drafters will not be considered.
Technical Abilities: Autodesk Civil 3D proficiency. Ability to prepare site development construction documents with moderate supervision.
Communication: Excellent English skills, both written and spoken. The position will involve direct communication with agency personnel and extensive interaction with Project Managers, Project Engineers, and peers.
Organization: Ability to effectively prioritize and handle multiple project demands and competing deadlines in a non-traditional, remote work environment.
