Your Role:
Train drivers in classroom, yard, and behind-the-wheel sessions.
Ensure trainees pass state exams, pre-trip inspections, and driving tests.
Develop safe driving habits and risk-awareness skills.
Provide equipment-specific training for different truck and chassis types.
Lead driver orientation and confirm qualifications of prospective hires.
Assist with safety reviews and compliance monitoring.
Support administrative tasks like driver records, reports, and training documentation.
What You Need:
Class A CDL with valid endorsements.
5+ years of commercial driving (including 1+ year with tankers/doubles).
Extensive knowledge of DOT & FMCSR regulations.
Strong communication and training skills.
Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, databases).
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and maneuver around equipment.
Ability to work independently & in a team in a fast-paced setting.
Commitment to safety, professionalism, and integrity.
Willingness to travel, work extra hours, and pass required screenings.
Additional Responsibilities:
Assist with driver safety meetings and compliance reviews.
Travel for out-of-state training as needed.
Maintain a "valued driver" mindset to improve retention and job satisfaction.
