We are a Regional OTR trucking company with approximately 35 drivers. We need a night dispatcher that can work independently. You must be detail oriented and know computers.
Must have requirements are:
1.Trucking experience
2.Clerical skills. Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Excel worksheets.
3.FMCSA Hours of Service regulations and how they affect driving time
Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
1. Using our GPS tracking system, Motive, you will be responsible for tracking drivers and making sure they are on time for pickups and deliveries.
2. They will also be responsible for handling any break down issues a driver may have. This would mean finding and contacting roadside repairs shops.
3. This person will also be responsible for reviewing the driver's logs and making sure they are legal.
4. Enter information into our TMS system
5. Updating spreadsheet according to where drivers are.
It would be a benefit if they also know our TMS software which is Prophecy, however we will train the right person.
This is NOT a remote position
Pay is starting at 20.00 per hour.
Medical benefits and 401K available after 60 days. The shift available is as follows:
Wednesday thru Friday: 5:00 pm to 5:00 am and every other Sunday 05:00pm to 5:00 am
