Job & Talent is seeking a Material Handlers / Forklift Operators / Order Packer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating forklifts to load and off load containers and put away materials around the facility, ensuring smooth logistics and efficient workflow. Available shifts:
1st shift:
6:00am to 4:30pm (Weekend Sat - Sun)
2nd shift:
6:00pm to 4:30am (Weekend Sat - Sun)
Pay Rate: $20.00 to $22.00 depending on shift time/days
Responsibilities:
Safely operate forklifts, turret trucks, order pickers, and reach trucks to move, stack, and organize materials within the warehouse.
Accurately pick, load, and put away inventory according to company standards and procedures.
Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
Follow all warehouse safety policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations.
Assist with cycle counts, stock checks, and inventory control tasks.
Support general warehouse operations including staging, labeling, wrapping, and loading/unloading shipments.
Qualifications -
Preferrred: Valid forklift certification/license (or ability to obtain prior to start).
Capable of operating hand and power tools and performing manual tasks.
Basic proficiency in operator a computer/scanner
Minimum 1 year experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment.
Preferred: Experience with Turret trucks, Order Pickers, and Reach Trucks.
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and work in a non climate controlled warehouse conditions (cold/hot environments, heights, fast-paced settings).
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
