CDL - DRIVER NEEDED FOR DEDICATED ROUTE - Regional (company based in Murrieta) Compensation: $1200.00 - $1500.00/week Employment type: Full-time Job Title: CDL DRIVER Compensation: bi-weekly Small family-owned trucking and logistics company looking for a CDL driver with at least 5 years’ experience and a clean MVR who can also pass a mandated pre-employment drug screen. We offer competitive pay and are currently offering regional short-line runs, between southern California - Phoenix, AZ, and Las Vegas. We will also have occasional runs between southern and northern California, and local runs in southern California and the Phoenix area. Our tractors are well maintained, you will have a dedicated 10-speed manual tractor. In certain circumstances, you may be able to park the tractor in a secure location closer to your residence. We are looking for someone who is trustworthy, responsible, reliable, and able to work independently. You will have a regular schedule with 2 days off per week and the option to work overtime. You must also be able and willing to drive at night and some weekends. (your schedule may include a weekend day/night off. Please note that for this position, THIS IS NOT A LOCAL POSITION, it is regional, and you will be out and about for usually 5 days, YOU WILL NOT BE HOME EVERY DAY/NIGHT. Please be aware that there are no benefits offered at this time, however, there may be "on-time" incentives and performance bonuses given at 6 month intervals. Requirements: 5 years driving experience (Class-A) driving a tractor-trailer Current/valid CDL with no DUIs, or no moving violations within the last 3 years. (we will need a copy of your MVR four our insurer) Must be able to conduct pre/post-trip checks on the tractor and trailer Must be able to drive at night Must have general knowledge of ELDs and how to use We are looking for a driver to grow with our company, not one that jumps from job to job.
