Job Description:
As a Welder for Metal Stud Framing and Structural Steel, you will execute welding tasks on metal framing systems, maintaining precision and safety across various commercial and industrial construction sites. This role demands a high attention to detail, teamwork, and strict adherence to safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Weld metal studs, tracks, and other components for framing according to project specifications
Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and welding symbols
Perform inspections of completed welds to ensure quality and compliance
Collaborate with Superintendent and other construction team members
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Follow safety procedures and OSHA regulations
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Welder in construction
Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and plans
Knowledge of various welding techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG)
Certification in welding is required
Familiarity with safety standards and regulations
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and excellent team collaboration skills
