What You'll Do: Job Responsibilities
As an Upholsterer, you'll play a vital role in creating our hand-crafted furniture. Your responsibilities will include:
Precisely measuring and cutting fabric or leather using patterns, stencils, and industrial cutting tools.
Attaching decorative finishes such as buttons, trim, and tassels to complete orders according to design specifications.
Operating a variety of industrial equipment, including portable hand-sewing machines, nail guns, hobnail and tack hammers, and hot-knife cutters.
Applying and installing batting, foam, poly-filler, and cut fabric to wooden frameworks using power and hand tools during furniture assembly.
What We're Looking For: Job Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience in upholstery, sewing, and furniture manufacturing is required.
The ability to stand, walk, and move for up to eight hours per day.
