Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable SCM Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our manufacturing equipment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of our SCM machinery, including CNC machines, sanders, spray lines, edgebanding machines, and conveyor systems.
Responsibilities:
-Preventative Maintenance: Perform scheduled inspections, lubrication, cleaning, and adjustments on all SCM equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns.
-Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues on SCM machinery.
-Electrical Systems: Troubleshoot and repair electrical components
-Mechanical Systems:Repair and maintain mechanical components, such as bearings, belts, chains, gears, and other moving parts.
-Conveyor Systems: Maintain and troubleshoot conveyor systems, ensuring proper belt tracking, alignment, and functionality.
-Spray Line Maintenance: Perform preventative maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting on spray line equipment, including pumps, nozzles, and filtration systems.
-CNC Machine Maintenance: Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration on CNC machines, ensuring accurate and efficient operation.
-Edgebanding Machine Maintenance: Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration on edgebanding machines, ensuring consistent edgebanding quality.
-Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
-Safety: Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies. Promote a safe work environment.
-Collaboration: Work effectively with other team members to resolve issues and improve equipment performance.
-Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for equipment improvements and recommend solutions.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in maintaining and repairing SCM machinery
Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
Experience with CNC machines, sanders, spray lines, edgebanding machines, and conveyors is highly desirable.
Ability to use diagnostic equipment and hand tools effectively.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
