Ace Sandblasting has over 47 years of experience sandblasting commercial, industrial, and residential projects. We pride ourselves on providing high quality services no matter the size of the job. Ace Sandblasting is seeking an experienced sandblaster/general construction laborer.
Primary Job Duties:
Sandblast various mediums including concrete, steel, wood, brick, block, etc.
Perform general construction labor, including job site clean-up.
Move various media materials, both by hand and utilizing various material transport mechanisms.
Engage in preparation work to ready worksite for sandblasting.
Operate motorized equipment including power tools, saws, etc.
Monitor processes, materials, and/or surroundings.
Perform functions according to company and OSHA safety guidelines.
Operate forklift
Clean, inspect and perform routine maintenance of equipment and tools
Load and unload materials, machinery, and tools
Requirements:
Regular, timely, and predictable attendance is required for this position.
Work hours 5 am - 1 pm.
Must be motivated, energetic and possess attention to detail.
Perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions. Must have excellent stamina.
Use hands and fingers fully; reach for, manipulate and feel objects; stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl; potentially for long periods.
Climb and maintain body balance on ladders, scaffolding, or high structures.
Lift and carry objects weighing up to 75 pounds.
Work successfully as a team.
Ability to understand and follow directions with moderate supervision.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Valid Driver’s License.
Reliable transportation to/from work.
Experience:
general labor: 1 year (Preferred)
construction: 1 year (Preferred)
