We are currently seeking a dedicated Safety Coordinator to join our team and help uphold our safety culture across multiple job sites. At Modular Solutions, Ltd. we deliver high-quality construction projects with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and integrity. We are currently seeking an experienced and proactive Safety Coordinator to join our team and play a key role in supporting daily operations, maintaining site security, and ensuring that safety protocols are followed across all project phases.

About the Role:

In this full-time position, you will play a vital role by ensuring the safety of all employees, subcontractors, and visitors. We're looking for someone with strong attention to detail and a positive attitude. The ideal candidate will be dependable, open to taking directions, patient, trustworthy, and able to work well with others in a fast-paced, diverse environment. As the safety coordinator you will be responsible for supporting and enforcing company safety policies, conducting site inspections, training employees, and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations (OSHA, etc.). This role plays a critical part in fostering a proactive safety culture.

What You’ll Be Doing (but not limited to):

Maintain an on-site presence daily — from before trades arrive -to the end of site activities.

Understand the full scope of work to support daily planning and operations.

Maintain overall site safety and security at all times.

Conduct and document:

o Daily safety huddles

o Weekly toolbox talks

o Safety orientations for all new employees and subcontractors

o Activity Hazard Analysis (AHA) for each trade

o Lift plan documentation and review

o Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) monitoring

Identify and address safety violations promptly, with full documentation.

Build and maintain a working relationship with the Owner's safety personnel.

Coordinate and oversee inspections and testing activities; maintain all records.

Attend, document, and distribute site meeting notes.

Assist with scheduling subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and deliveries.

Receive, check, and log delivered materials for quality and accuracy.

Manage and monitor general condition expenses.

Assist with updating the overall project schedule and ensure timely reporting.

Perform ongoing quality control checks and ensure compliance with project standards.

Track and communicate construction conflicts or issues with the Project Manager.

Document all communication with customers and update relevant internal teams.

Conduct subcontractor meetings and ensure contracted work is executed fully.

Maintain a clean, organized, professional job site.

Monitor on-site material storage to prevent damage, especially from weather.

Manage final punch lists and assist with project closeout tasks.

Secure and manage building permit changes as needed.

Provide cross-department support when requested.

What We’re Looking For:

3+ years of construction safety or site coordination experience

In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and job site safety protocols

OSHA 30 certification required; First Aid/CPR preferred

Strong organizational and communication skills

Experience managing subcontractors and enforcing safety compliance

Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and project schedules

Proficient with basic computer tools and documentation software

Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications

CHST certification (or working toward it)

Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Experience with both commercial and residential construction projects
