Thanks for lookingSo, I have a 1941 Ford F100 that I need rewired.
My dad gave me this truck when I was a senior in high school (and no, it wasn't new smartass) and now that I'm newly retired I decided to get it ready to play with.
It will start and drive, but the wiring is kind of a mess. I purchased a universal 14 circuit wiring harness thinking, "I'm a smart guy, how hard could it be"? Turns out I'm not a smart guy and it can be very hard if you've never done it.
Here's what I'm hoping to find; someone who is doing automotive wiring now, or has previously, or is in between mechanic gigs, or wants to moonlight to pick up some extra cash. Basically, someone who has a lot of experience doing automotive work and wiring in particular, not someone who is marginally smarter than me and is confident they can figure it out :-)
What I'm offering is hourly pay (the amount is negotiable and commensurate with your experience), in cash and I can pay you every day if you like. You would work on the truck in my garage, (bring your tools or use mine) at my home (near 56th St. and Lone Mountain) and you can set your own schedule. Work as many, or as few, hours as you like, it's up to you. There are other things I want to do with the truck, and if you're interested we can talk, but for now, it's just the wiring of headlights, taillights, etc.
