Overview:
We are seeking a low voltage technician with a good work ethic and strong character to join our team. We believe in investing in our employees. This position will can be outdoor and indoor. Do not apply if you are not used to working outside or have no desire to work outside, please.
Job Responsibilities:
- Install cable for low voltage systems such as fire alarm, 2-way communication, security alarm, Access Control, CCTV, AV, V/V/D, Vehicular Gates.
Please have experience in installations, large projects, retrofit and repair of all low voltage systems including security, fire alarm, and communication systems.
-Testing & Metering cable
-Installing devices for the various low voltage systems listed above
-Maintain records on installed wiring and equipment
-Advises supervisor of any issues in the field
-Ability to coordinate and work with other trades
-Willing to learn new products and drive to be a successful part of our team
Requirements:
-Proficiency in hand tools and power tools
-Valid Driver License and ability to drive a company vehicle
- Knowledge of low voltage systems
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
-Excellent communication skills
