We are seeking a skilled and experienced Polyurethane Foam Roofing Applicator to join our Porter Roofing, Inc team. As an Applicator, you will be responsible for applying various materials and finishes to surfaces, ensuring high-quality results. This is a hands-on role that requires proficiency in working with hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment. You will also be responsible for tear-off of existing roofing materials and preparation of the substrate for the new foam roof. This includes protection of adjacent surfaces, daily cleanup and final cleanup.
Duties
- Tear-off of existing roofing as applicable
- Prepare surfaces for new foam roofing
– Protect adjacent surfaces from damage due to spraying and other roofing activities
- Apply new foam roofing in accordance with manufacturers recommendations, specifications, Porter Roofing, Inc quote and industry standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area. Clean entire work area at the end of each workday and upon completion of the project
- All work to be preformed in accordance with OSHA standards, local regulations and Porter Roofing Inc safety standards
- Maintain all Porter Roofing, Inc. foam application equipment, power tools, & hand tools. Report any equipment and tool issues immediately to Porter Roofing, Inc management.
- Safely operate Porter Roofing, Inc trucks from storage yard to jobsites and back to the storage yard on a daily basis. Some trucks require a CDL Class B license to operate them
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Spray Foam Roof Applicator
- Knowledge of OSHA standards
- Proficiency in working with hand tools, power tools, and specialized foam application equipment
- Strong knowledge of Polyurethane Foam application techniques
- Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work as a team leader
- Excellent communication skills
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks
