On Site Supervision Position Job Description
Job Site Location: Tohono O'odham Nation
Primary Responsibilities
Understand the whole scope of work;
Maintain a presence on site prior to trades hours through the day until all trades are off site;
Maintain site security;
Responsible for site safety including: weekly tool box talks, daily safety huddles, Activity Hazard Analysis reports from all trades, safety violation remediation and documentation, maintain relationship with Owner safety personnel, document lift plans, monitor PPE by all site staff, provide site safety orientation for first day employees and subs
Attend Site meetings, record and document meeting memo;
Coordinate delivery of buildings and materials; Check and record shipped material quality and quantity;
Coordinate, schedule and witness inspections and testing;
Review project for quality and compliance;
Update Project Schedule in timely manner;
Complete and document daily project report;
Manage and control General Condition Expenses;
Schedule subcontractors, consultants, and vendors;
Perform on site quality control duties and responsivities regarding work being performed.
Identify conflicts in construction progress and communicate with Project Manager team;
Ensure subcontractor is fully executing the contracted scope of work;
Document communication with customer (especially conflicts and outstanding issues), and update PM, Sales and other related department;
Ensure job site is always kept in a clean and organized manner;
Conduct Subcontractor meetings as needed;
Secure building permit changes
Look out and inspect site storage material, make sure material is properly storage and keep away from water damage;
Perform job progress and completion punch list and completion;
Assist other department as needed when required
Secondary Responsibilities
Assist in creating schedule, request schedule of each subcontractors;
Gather project material submittals, test results, and compliance forms etc.;
Identify out of scope work from original scope of work;
Take care of any loose ends, adjust door closer etc. as needed;
Apply and request site installation permit;
Able to travel
