We’re Hiring: Mechanic
Location: Phoenix AZ 85041
Employment Type: Full-Time (Monday- Friday)
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Mechanic to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of hands-on experience in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues on construction equipment. A strong work ethic, the ability to follow instructions, and being a team player are essential to success in this role.
Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on a variety of construction equipment.
Perform routine maintenance and inspections on tools, vehicles, generators, and forklifts.
Understand and follow all steps required to begin, carry out, and complete repair jobs efficiently.
Bring and maintain a personal set of tools for daily use.
Follow all company safety protocols, including the use of PPE at all times.
Work cooperatively with crew members and supervisors.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Follow work orders and verbal instructions accurately.
Assist with equipment setup or teardown on job sites as needed.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures, equipment, and technologies.
Requirements:
1–2 years of relevant experience in mechanical/electrical repair, preferably in a construction or heavy equipment environment.
Must bring own tools to work.
General understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
Forklift or generator maintenance/repair experience is preferred but not required.
Ability to follow instructions, orders, and safety rules consistently.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Must be a dependable team player with a positive attitude.
Willingness to learn and grow with the team.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying outdoor conditions.
Work Environment:
Outdoor shop environments.
Exposure to noise, dust, heavy machinery, chemicals and fluids
PPE must be worn at all times.
Working Shifts Vary (changes throughout the year due to heat)
