As a Mid to Senior Level Superintendent, you will be integral to our project management team, responsible for the successful execution of wood frame multi-family projects from inception to completion. You will oversee all on-site activities, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all phases of construction for wood frame multi-family projects, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to develop and maintain project schedules and work plans.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and design specifications.
- Coordinate and supervise the activities of subcontractors and laborers, ensuring effective communication and workflow.
- Maintain precise documentation of project progress, including daily logs, change orders, and incident reports.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues that may impact project timelines or quality.
- Implement and uphold safety protocols, promoting a culture of safety among all team members.
- Participate in meetings with stakeholders to provide updates on project status, addressing any concerns or adjustments needed.
- Mentor and train junior staff, fostering professional development within the team.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience as a Superintendent in the construction of wood frame multi-family residential projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
- Proven experience in project management, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with a focus on team collaboration and communication.
- Proficiency in project scheduling and management software.
