Machinist and Manual Lathe needed for reputable Pump & Motor Service Company.Foster Electric Motor Service Inc. is a long-standing successful company located in Chandler, Arizona that is growing and in need of qualified, experienced, and versatile Manual Lathe Machinists & Electric Motor & Pump Mechanics.
Candidates need a great work ethic, positive attitude, high standards for quality, and the ability to work in a team environment while performing on an individual basis.
Manual Lathe Machinist needed (No CNC Machinists, please)
Requirements:
Must have Pump and Electric Motor machining knowledge
Must have the ability to indicate odd sized parts in 3 or 4 jaw chunk within .0001"
Must have own hand tools including calipers 0-6 OD + ID
Must have experience with industrial motors
Use of hand and powered tools to make repairs
Operate crane, forklift and other powered equipment
Read and interpret work instructions and technical manuals
Complete paperwork and insure product meets specifications
Maintain a safe work environment by following procedures and wearing appropriate PPE
Work in a productive & efficient manner and provide ideas for improvement
