Job Summary

As an Automotive Technician, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles with accuracy and care. This hands-on role focuses on efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction. Full-time position with competitive pay.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.

2+ years experience working in the Automotive repair Industry (knowledge of hybrid systems is a plus).

Valid driver's license with clean record.

Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment.

Excellent communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in a shop environment with noise and fumes.

Reliable transport; flexible for Mon-Fri 8 AM-5 PM, Sat 8 AM-3 PM.

Own basic hand tools required; shop provides specialized tools and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose issues using tools, scanners, and tests for mechanical, electrical, and hybrid systems.

Perform repairs on engines, brakes, suspensions, transmissions, A/C (EPA 609-compliant), and other parts.

Handle maintenance like oil changes, tire rotations, fluid flushes, and 45/100-point inspections.

Update repair orders (e.g., VIN, mileage, recommendations) and communicate with advisors.

Follow manufacturer standards, company policies, and regulations (OSHA, EPA).

Conduct quality checks and test drives to ensure safe, reliable work.

Keep workspace clean; track tools/parts and report needs.

Team up on jobs; mentor juniors as skills grow.

Stay updated on trends, especially hybrid tech.

Preferred Skills

ASE certifications or equivalent.

Experience with hybrid battery/high-voltage systems.

Ability to explain repairs to advisors/customers.

Positive, detail-oriented team player.

Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus.
