Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Help generate new business, bid projects, meet with clients. Must have valid Driver license, pass drug screening.
Study job specifications to determine appropriate construction methods.
Negotiate revisions and prepare change orders and additions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to administrative staff, workers, and clients.
Prepare and submit bids for all prospective construction projects.
Prepare drawings for prospective construction projects.
Requisition supplies and materials to complete construction projects.
Budget time required to meet deadlines and submit cost reports to Bookkeeping for construction projects.
Take actions to deal with the results of delays, complications, or emergencies at construction site.
Periodically inspect construction equipment and vehicles and enforce safety precautions.
Train construction crews in techniques and craftsmanship of landscape construction.
Supervise all construction employees.
Communicate with clients and management in English.
Ability to understand the intended use of, start, and operate landscape construction equipment.
Weekly On-call rotation with the other managers.
