Landscape Lighting Technician
Position Overview: As a Landscape Lighting Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting outdoor lighting systems. This role requires an understanding of low-voltage lighting, electrical systems, and a keen eye for design to enhance the aesthetic appeal of landscapes. You will work independently and as part of a team, interacting with clients, contractors, and other professionals to deliver high-quality lighting solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Install and configure low-voltage lighting systems, including fixtures, transformers, and wiring.
Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs of existing lighting systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to lighting systems, including electrical problems.
Follow lighting design plans to ensure accurate placement and illumination of architectural and landscape features.
Program and set up automated lighting controls, ensuring systems adjust for daylight savings and other environmental factors.
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked work vehicle, ensuring all tools and equipment are in good working condition.
Provide excellent customer service, addressing client concerns and ensuring satisfaction with the lighting system.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year of experience in low-voltage lighting or related electrical work.
Familiarity with various lighting systems and electrical components.
Ability to read and interpret lighting design plans.
Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in diagnosing and repairing lighting system issues.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
