Job Description:
As a Journeyman Electrician at IPS, you’ll work closely with the site foreman to execute top-quality installations that meet current electrical codes. We’re looking for someone who works quickly and efficiently while maintaining safety standards 100% of the time. The ideal candidate is growth-oriented, can read blueprints, skilled at terminating service sections, distribution centers, panel boards, transformers, and disconnecting motor controls. We also require all candidate to be able to bend and thread rigid conduit up to 6". Must have the required tools for the job as well.
Qualifications & Requirements:
5 to 10 years of experience in the electrical trade.
Proficient in installing PVC, RIGID, FLEX, GRC.
Capable of making multiple circuits with multiple ground conductors.
Skilled in termination.
Experience working with two apprentices.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Proficient with hydraulic benders.
Must be able to bend lift twist up to 80 pounds repeatedly throughout the day.
Must be able to work on your feet for 8 to 12 hours a day safely for 7 days a week.
