Irrigation Manager/Irrigation Foreman for Xeriscapes Unlimited a well established Landscaping Company in Central Phoenix -must have VALID DRIVER LICENSE, use powered equipment and hand tools to maintain landscape at several locations all over the valley.
We provide transportation to job sites. Able to lift heavy loads of landscape debris.
Ability to work in high summer temperatures.
You’d be responsible for:
Irrigation for Commercial properties on a weekly schedule.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Visit on a bi-weekly basis the maintenance contract properties to perform an inspection of their irrigation system.
Establish good customer relations and communication.
Communicate in the form of a weekly safety meeting with the irrigation department employees.
Prepare a daily duty assignment and/or punch list of priorities for the irrigation crews. Use Computer for reporting, Excel, Word and Outlook. Jobber experience a plus!
Submit daily report to both the Owners via email with details as to what was done for the day.
Bid incidental jobs on maintenance contract properties that will be performed by the irrigation department or a subcontract for irrigation-related work. Any construction or maintenance-related work is to be turned over to those departments respectively.
Periodically inspect irrigation-related equipment and vehicles and enforce safety precautions.
Train irrigation crews in techniques and craftsmanship of landscape irrigation maintenance.
Communicate with clients and management in English.
Ability to understand the intended use of, start, and operate landscape irrigation maintenance equipment.
