Residential and Commercial HVAC Installer:
Essential Skills and Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent: Minimum educational requirement.
Licensing: Required to obtain and maintain relevant licenses and certifications, such as EPA certification for handling refrigerants.
Experience: At least 2 years of formal training in HVAC installation of package units, split systems and mini splits, ductwork, piping, and electrical connections. Maintenance is highly desirable but not a necessity
Problem Solving: Ability to identify and resolve technical issues related to HVAC systems upon installation
Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with clients, coworkers, and supervisors.
Customer Service: Ability to provide excellent customer service and address client concerns.
Attention to Detail: Ability to follow instructions, pay attention to detail, and ensure that all work is completed accurately.
Physical Stamina: Ability to withstand the physical demands of the job, such as lifting, bending, and working in confined spaces and lifting 50 + pounds when needed.
Code Compliance: Ensure that all installations and repairs comply with local building codes and regulations.
Safety: Ensuring that all work is performed safely and in accordance with industry standards and regulations. Work safely in the Arizona heat and on Rooftops
