PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Industrial Maintenance Mechanics will possess solid knowledge of Pumps, Motors, VFD’s, Plumbing, Mechanical and Electric systems, Piping, Industrial Pressure Washing systems, Generators, Industrial Controls, PLC Systems, Etc. Ability to travel extensively to private industrial equipment, military, and government customers.

POSITION PURPOSE:

Maintenance Mechanics will be responsible for inspection, preventative maintenance troubleshooting, repairs and emergency service of industrial process equipment at customer sites. May participate in equipment new equipment assembly and installation. Ability and the experience to apply solid knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electronics to support industrial equipment customers.

POSITION DETAILS:

Field Service Technicians may travel by company service trucks to customer sites and will utilize company provided hand tools, power tools, and specialty tools to complete equipment maintenance.

Wide customer base including military installations, government and industrial locations.

$2,000 Sign On Bonus.

5+ year experience preferred.

Relocation Assistance.

Willing to submit to a stringent background screening (Federal Contractor).

FUNCTIONS:

Major areas of responsibility will be installation, start-up, inspection, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and emergency service of industrial process equipment. (Pumps, Motors, VFDs, Plumbing, Mechanical and Electrical Systems, Piping, High Pressure Components, Industrial Controls, PLC Systems, etc).

Assembly and installation of new equipment and systems at customer sites.

This position requires extensive travel, a solid knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatic, electronics and experience in troubleshooting such systems.

You will represent and promote the company; its products and services, as well as pro-actively seek and pursue new prospects/projects, with existing and prospective customers, in order to increase profitable sales.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Strong customer orientation – Dependable, hands-on, hardworking, honest and ability to work effectively under pressure.

Strong Knowledge and background in mechanical, plumbing, electrical and electronic systems.

Familiar with mechanical and electrical equipment.

Experience with bending and installation of rigid, IMC and EMT conduits.

Ability to perform load calculations for circuits and calculate working circuit ampacities to determine proper conductor size.

3 Phase WYE and Delta experience, and electrical panel building.

Knowledge of PLC systems operation.

Able to understand mechanical, electrical, and electronic/computer hardware functionality and use knowledge to troubleshoot equipment.

Fluent in English with excellent communication and listening skills.

High school or equivalent - required, Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree preferred.

2 years minimum of experience in field or related area, 5 plus years preferred.

Must be willing to travel extensively - usually 100% travel Monday - Friday.

Driver’s license and excellent driving record required.

Ability to pass stringent background screening and obtain military base clearances.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Ability to work outside under various environmental conditions.

May include some exposure to hazardous materials and equipment.

Ability to maneuver around moving objects, vehicles, and/or machinery.

May be expected to drive for long periods of time.

May be required to travel by air.

The work is considered medium-to-heavy in nature and involves walking, standing, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing, balancing, lifting, digging, pushing or raising objects and also involves exerting between 20 and 50 pounds of force on a recurring basis and 50 to 100 pounds of force on an occasional basis.

Ability to climb ladders with 300 lb. weight limit.
