Job Overview:
The HVAC Commercial Foreman will oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial HVAC systems, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This role involves managing a team of technicians and installers, coordinating with project managers, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise a team of HVAC technicians and installers on commercial projects.
Plan, organize, and execute project schedules and tasks.
Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings.
Ensure all installations meet code requirements, safety standards, and company quality guidelines.
Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams to address project needs.
Maintain inventory and order necessary materials and equipment.
Train and mentor team members, promoting skill development and adherence to best practices.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues to ensure timely project completion.
Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean job site.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications preferred.
5+ years of experience in commercial HVAC installation and maintenance, with 2+ years in a leadership role.
Strong understanding of commercial mechanical systems, including ductwork, refrigeration, and piping.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of local codes and regulations.
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
OSHA certification is a plus.
