Looking for experienced Foreman, Operators, Pipe layers and Laborers for Underground Wet Utilities Company. Very competitive pay.
FOREMANMust be a WORKING FOREMAN that is responsible for executing the Project Manager's or Superintendent's directives in running site work projects. Including but not limited to, installation of water, sewer, storm pipe, and dry utilities. Additionally, they must be able to safely, efficiently and productively run heavy equipment.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
1- Must be able to shoot grades, set up jobs and run crews, read drawings and specifications.
2-Work with various General Contractors site supervisors and project managers to ensure work is completed in a timely manner.(Bonuses paid for exceeding or meeting the job time frame.)
3-Assign workers to tasks, explain the work and supervise the execution of the work.
4-Significant experience operating heavy equipment.
5-Exercise proper care, maintenance, and operation of company equipment.
6- Maintain accurate time sheets and job documentation.
7-Communicates and enforces safety program.
OPERATORS3 years experience of operating Excavator, Backhoes, and Loaders .Excavate in underground utilities on a major commercial sites and/or highway projects (water, sewer, and storm). Assist in shooting grade and installing pipe. Ideal candidates must be motivated and able to follow directions in a large crew setting.
PIPE LAYERS-3 years experience in underground utilities on a major commercial sites and/or highway projects (water, sewer, and storm). Must be able to shoot grade and read plans. Ideal candidates must be motivated and able to follow directions in a large crew setting. Knowledge of confined space and competent person training preferred.
LABORERS 1 year of experience in construction must have the desire to learn the wet utilities trade to move up in a growing company.Ideal candidates must be motivated and able to follow directions in a large crew setting. Knowledge of confined space and competent person training preferred.
