Diesel Technician/ Mechanic

Position Summary for diesel work:
-Truck Source is looking for a qualified diesel mechanic.
-Need to be familiar with VCADS, DDEC, INSITE, ET.
-Be able to diagnose mechanical problems using electronic and mechanical testing equipment for both diesel and trailer work.
-Repair gasoline or diesel engines
-Inspecting and repairing engines, gas and diesel fuel systems, steering, transmissions, electrical
systems, cooling systems, starters, alternators, tires, and other major components.
- Be able to repair and replace transmissions, auxiliary transmissions, drive lines, axles and
differentials.
-Be able to repair air and hydraulic brakes and other specialized equipment.
-Need to be a team player, easy to work with.
Position summary for trailer work.
-Must be able to adjust and replace brakes, slack adjusters, airlines, etc.
-Able to replace decking
-Refer repairs would be great
-All electrical components
-Swap out bad tires for new
