Tower Hand Wanted – Pay $20-35
Are you an experienced outdoor worker looking for a hands-on role in the rapidly growing wireless communications industry? We are seeking a skilled Tower Hand to join our team.
As a Tower Hand, you will be responsible for assisting with the installation, maintenance, and repair of wireless telecommunication towers and associated equipment. This includes:
Climbing telecommunication towers up to 400 feet high to perform inspections, troubleshoot issues, and complete necessary repairs
Safely operating power tools, hand tools, and other equipment required for tower work
Performing routine maintenance tasks like cleaning, painting, and replacing worn parts
Assisting with the installation of new antennas, microwave dishes, and other tower-mounted hardware
Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment
Documenting work performed and maintaining detailed logs and reports
The ideal candidate will have:
1-2 years of experience working on communication towers or other elevated structures
Ability to climb towers up to 400 feet in height
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Commitment to workplace safety and following procedures
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Physical fitness to perform demanding outdoor labor
