Global Bikes is a locally owned and independent bike shop with five locations, in the Phoenix Metro area. We first opened our doors in early 2001 and have become one of Arizona's top shops and have achieved national notoriety having won the NBDA's "America's Best Bikes Shop" Award seven years running. Currently we are looking for experienced Bicycle Shop Techs with E-Bike experience.
#1) Bicycle Mechanics Wanted: Full or part-time
We're looking for fun, positive, outgoing self-starters with strong technical ability and mechanical experience. You might just be the right person for the job if you’re resourceful, confident, and above all else, you love getting people back on their bikes. Professional bike shop experience is desired however, we may be willing to train the right individual. Compensation is competitive and will ultimately depend on your experience and ability. Above and beyond standard pay, Global Bikes is proud to offer the following opportunities to full-time employees; 401-k, health insurance, dental, vision, life, FSA, paid training, EP discounts, PTO, paid holidays, etc. Hourly plus OT, Commission, and Bonus average 45k annually with (1+) years experience for Full-time employment working 5 days a week.
The Job:
90% service with the ability to lend a hand on the sales floor when needed
Service Writing…solid verbal and written skills are a must.
General shop help as needed; inventory management, cleaning, ordering, written customer communication, etc.
Availability to work weekends may be needed.
