We are a transmission rebuilding / auto repair shop and we are looking for a Shop Foreman / Lead Technician, you will play a pivotal role in our team, overseeing daily operations, managing a team of technicians, and ensuring the highest standards of service quality. Your expertise and leadership will contribute to our continued success in the automotive industry.
Responsibilities:
Lead a team of automotive technicians and provide guidance, support, and training as needed.
Diagnose and repair various vehicle makes and models with efficiency and accuracy.
Perform complex mechanical repairs and maintenance tasks, including engine and transmission work.
Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety and quality standards.
Manage shop workflow, prioritize jobs, and allocate resources effectively.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Assist with customer interactions, providing explanations and recommendations for repairs.
Keep up-to-date with industry advancements and technical training.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years as an automotive technician
Proven experience as an Automotive Technician with leadership skills.
ASE certifications preferred but not required.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Team player with a positive attitude.
Knowledge of automotive repair software and tools.
Valid driver's license.
Monday - Friday 7:30am - 5:00pm
(No Saturdays)
