Pay Rate: $20/hr + Commission (eligible after 30 days)

The Solar Lead Generator will sell and promote the client's brand in retail environments, which entails solar energy solutions to help customers reduce their energy costs and environmental impact while benefiting from sustainable, renewable power. The SLG will drive brand market share through daily direct sales activities engaging directly with customers in a home improvement retailer store.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Demonstrate, sell, and promote our solar panel services at retailers in assigned territory

Showcase your interactive solar panel solutions know-how and communication skills

Schedule in home consultations for single-home customers

Educate customers while making specific product recommendations that are applicable to their everyday life

Accurately document and report sales, schedules, activities, and best practices

Collect customer feedback and provide insight and recommendations

Present information about solar panel benefits and our services in a compelling manner.

Meet or exceed weekly and monthly appointment-setting targets.

Hiring Details:

High school diploma or GED equivalent required

1 year of previous retail selling experience in home improvement or related experience solar energy sales experience

Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including days, weekends, and holidays.

Warm, self-motivated, outgoing and enthusiastic.

Ability to stage a consultative selling process that overcomes objections and connects with customer needs

Ability to perform independently in an unstructured work environment

Must have and maintain reliable transportation

Prolonged periods of standing and walking throughout the store or department
