VES is looking for a Lead Generator - Commercial Electrical Contractors in Mesa, AZ.

Overview: Our company is a rapidly growing organization recognized in the electrical construction industry as being the best in the business. We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Lead Generator to join our team. As a Lead Generator, your primary responsibility will be to identify and qualify construction projects, verify their status, and obtain contact information about the decision makers. You will utilize various online platforms that identify potential leads for construction projects across the United States. Once a lead is qualified, and the contractor/decision-maker is identified, you will pass the lead to our sales team for further engagement. This role is crucial in supporting our business growth and expanding our network within the commercial electrical construction industry.

Responsibilities:

Lead Identification: Utilize online platforms and databases to identify potential construction projects relevant to large commercial developments that include the services of an electrical contractor.

Lead Qualification: Assess each lead by understanding the scope of the project, timeline, and ensuring alignment with our target market and capabilities.

Project Status Verification: Research and verify the status of identified projects to ensure they are active and at the appropriate stage of construction.

Contractor Identification: Identify the Electrical Contractor that was awarded the project and gather relevant contact information, including names, phone numbers, and email addresses.

Data Management: Maintain accurate records of leads, project details, and contractor information in our CRM system.

Collaboration: Coordinate with the sales team to ensure seamless handoff of qualified leads for further engagement and follow-up.

Sales Support: Provide the sales team with support as needed, e.g., scheduled newsletter transmission to client base, assist with a log of potential opportunities, lost order reports, and post-project client questionnaires to assess satisfaction, etc.

Qualifications:

Research Skills: Strong research and analytical skills to effectively identify and verify construction projects and contractor information.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage with contractors and convey information effectively.

Self-Starter: You can work independently and without constant oversight; your focus is on the task at hand and you are not one that is easily distracted with personal usage of texting, social media and the like during the work day.

Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in verifying project status and collecting contractor contact information.

Persistence: A proactive and persistent approach to lead generation.

Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in using online platforms, databases, CRM systems for lead generation and data management.

Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with the sales team and other departments to achieve common goals and objectives.

Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Additional education or training in business, or related fields is a plus.
