The Design & Sales Manager for our Custom Cabinetry Manufacturing company is responsible for generating sales and driving revenue growth by connecting with new and existing clients, primarily in the residential and builder markets. This role involves understanding customer needs, presenting custom cabinet solutions, and fostering strong, long-term relationships with clients. The ideal candidate has a strong background in sales, ideally in cabinetry, woodworking, or home improvement sectors, and is highly skilled at meeting targets while ensuring customer satisfaction . The Sales Manager oversees and supports the design team. This is a Salary plus commission position.
Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of sales associates and designers to maximize performance and achieve sales goals.
Oversee daily operations of the sales department.
Analyze sales data to identify trends, forecast future sales.
Foster strong relationships with team members and customers to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
Collaborate with other departments to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
Requirements:
Proven experience in sales, preferably in cabinetry, home improvement, or construction industry.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to understand and convey technical information related to cabinetry design and manufacturing.
Strong organizational skills with a proactive approach to managing multiple client relationships.
Valid driver’s license for travel to client locations and industry events.
