Location: Phoenix, AZ Description: Our client is currently seeking a Systems Admin
The System Administrator is responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software related infrastructure. This individual participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure. This individual ensures that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational security and functional requirements. This job will have the following responsibilities: VMWare builds and support AIX, Linux builds and support Trouble ticket remediation and responding to system failures Create system related documentation and procedures Perform other job-related duties as assigned Qualifications & Requirements:- Education Level Associate's Degree - Associate's degree or Technical/Trade School certification in systems administration or related field. Bachelor's Degree - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Systems & Network Administration or related field
- Demonstrated expertise in Windows server administration and upgrades.
- Strong Customer-Service orientation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated expertise conducting Client/Server troubleshooting including desktop PCs, web servers, and database servers
