Valley Discounts is a local liquidation company that sells tools, home goods, furniture, appliances, etc.
We are looking to fill a part-time position at our Phoenix location. The shift schedule is:
Monday: 8:45am-5:45pm
Wednesday: 8:45am-5:45pm
Saturday: 9:45am-4:15pm
There is an opportunity for more hours if you would like them. DO NOT APPLY IF YOU CANNOT WORK SATURDAYS.
No experience required; we train on-site
Key Duties:
- organizing the store and shelving merchandise
- helping customers
- moving items around to make the store look better
- loading heavy objects into customer's cars (like mini-fridges or furniture pieces)
Job Responsibilities:
- checking customers out at the cash register
- posting items to OfferUp and Instagram
- greeting and helping customers
- helping other employees move heavy objects (like couches)
- helping customers load inventory into their truckloads
- stocking/organizing
Requirements:
- must be able to lift at least 50 lbs
- must be 18 years or older
