We have an immediate opening for an experienced Maintenance Technician to service our property.
You will be responsible for facility and grounds upkeep and may work alone. Our ideal candidate has at least one year of experience performing professional maintenance work, is familiar with a variety of building systems, including HVAC, paint, pool, plumbing, electrical, and heating systems, and knows how to keep the sidewalks and other structures around our buildings clean and safe.
Shifts may vary, so you must have a flexible schedule.
Maintenance Technician Duties and Responsibilities
Get vacant units ready for new tenants, including, painting, and repairs
Check equipment and perform routine maintenance to ensure everything is in working order
Repair malfunctioning equipment units and broken structures
Install and maintain ventilation and refrigeration units
Respond to tenant repair requests
Perform light landscaping work as needed
Working Conditions: The Apartment Maintenance Technician will work primarily indoors and outdoors and will be exposed to various weather conditions. The position may require working on weekends and holidays and involve on-call duties.
Physical Requirements: The Apartment Maintenance Technician must be able to lift and carry heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces. The position may require standing, walking, bending, and kneeling for extended periods of time.
Maintenance Technician Requirements and Qualifications
Must speak English
1+ years of maintenance experience preferred
Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and A/C and heating systems
Skilled with a variety of hand and power tools
Must pass a background check and drug test
Authorized to work in the U.S
