About us
In 1975, Phil Erickson founded Erickson Framing as a framer for major home builders in Phoenix. In its early days, Erickson helped pioneer the concept of complete framing systems. In 1986, Erickson acquired a Phoenix truss facility to complement its framing operations. We expanded into California in 1988, and Nevada in 1994.
We are currently in Arizona, California, Nevada strong and standing!

PURPOSE: This role requires designers to follow requests precisely while ensuring designs meet rigorous requirements, including safety standards.
GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
-Design wall, stairs, and arches in our design program.
-Run starts and paperwork for wall panel production.
-Make necessary changes for production houses.
-Other duties as necessary
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
-General knowledge of the construction industry.
-Mitek Structure/sapphire experience required.
-High level of Blueprint reading proficiency.
-A minimum of three years’ panel/component design experience.
-Previous Framing experience required.
-CAD drawing experience and skills preferred.
-Knowledge of IBC, state, and local building codes.
SKILLS &ABILITIES
-Ability to interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating procedures.
-Ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing with Engineers as well as internal and external customers, clearly and professionally.
-Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete and dimension variables in situations where only limited information exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule form.
-Ability to maintain a safe working environment.
