Construction Project Coordinator
Job Description
1. Knowledge of contract specification
2. Submittals
3. Change orders
4. Budgets
5. Reports
6. Request for Information (RFI’s)
7. Proficiency with Microsoft Office
8. Experience with Sage 300 is a Plus
Daily Tasks:
-Rapid and accurate data entry of project-related information into the job cost database
-Organizes and files documents for the project team
-Works with the Project Manager to complete administrative work in Construction department
-Excellent communication and people skills, able to work in a team environment
WORK
Setting up jobs and projects in Sage 300; preparing and customizing reports in Sage 300
Organize and prepare project site meeting paperwork for Project Manager
Process RFI’s, submittal package, change orders, purchase orders, and contracts in Sage 300 based on information obtained from Project Managers or Superintendents
Communicate with Project Manager and Superintendents on schedule updates and milestone infractions and log such data
Update buy out spreadsheets and budgets weekly or as required
Prepare and send out contracts for subcontractors as each proposal and scope of work is finalized
Follow up with Project Manager on daily log sheets provided by Superintendents and subcontractors weekly, update prolog
Prepare detailed cost proposal reports for construction company and developer based on information provided by Project Manager for upcoming projects
Maintain logs
Take, prepare, and distribute meeting minutes for project and team meetings
