We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented individual to join our medical billing team, full or part-time positions available. Duties include insurance accounts receivable follow-up; must possess ability to interpret and resolve claim denials, EDI rejections, and unpaid claims, process electronic claim files, post payments, and provide customer service assistance with billing related inquiries from patients, patient collections.
Requirements:
At least 2 years medical billing experience.
Great analytical, phone, and people skills.
Able to work independently, meet project deadlines, and solve problems quickly and efficiently with minimal supervision.
Must be able to accurately review an account to understand the patient balance owed and articulate this knowledge to patients.
This is a remote position; must have private home office setup; computer, internet, phone, printer, etc.
