Job description

Cardinal Clean is a fast-growing insurance-based contents company in the east valley that offers cleaning, restoration and disposal of personal property affected by an insurance loss or catastrophe. This is a fast-paced industry that is always changing and growing, the need for a solid core foundation is key and we are looking for individuals that have the desire to challenge the industry and drive to build a solid base within.

We are in search of a well-balanced, energetic and diligent individual to fulfill our open Estimating position. This position will prepare accurate estimates for projects by gathering information and analyzing important metrics. The ideal candidate possesses estimating knowledge in the insurance restoration industry and understands the basics of water restoration and mitigation. Knowledge in contents billing is a plus, and a minimum of 1 year experience in Xactimate is required. You will provide knowledge of cost and benefits that support profitable business decisions. We are looking for someone with excellent numerical skills and an analytical mindset. You must be thorough and apt in managing relationships with key persons involved with the insurance process. The goal is to provide detailed reports so the company can make informed decisions that will enhance its profitability and growth.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to-

Initial walks to determine loss description, take photos and notes.

Write initial estimates to include materials, time, transportation, and possible storage.

Take timesheets and material summary reports to complete all service estimates and invoices.

Bill insurance companies, homeowners, vendors, and property management depending on responsible party.

Make follow up calls to sign authorizations, collect approvals and move to scheduling.

Build relationships with adjusters, homeowners, agents and key persons involved with the claim process.

Skills -

Proven experience as an estimator or similar position

Familiarity with financial and project management principles

Knowledge in the Insurance Restoration and Water Mitigation.

Proficient in Xactimate Software. ICAT software a plus.

Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities

Thoroughness and reliability

Excellent organizational skills

Requirements: Must possess a clean driving record and a State Issued Driver License that is current and valid.

This position is full time. Paid Holidays after the 90-day probational timeframe. Sick pay upon immediate employment.
