Production Sorter

FULL TIME - 40 HOURS PER WEEK

PART TIME - 30 HOURS PER WEEK

Base Pay Rate: 15.00 per hour w/ the ability to earn bonus/incentives/raises

Employment is contingent on criminal background check.

LOCATION: 3405 N Higley Rd., Mesa AZ 85215

JOB SUMMARY:

The Production Sorter prepares, sorts, tags, and hangs donations for the sales floor and assists customers while providing exceptional customer service.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Accepting and sorting through all donations, separating good merchandise that can be made available to customers.

Distributing in-kind receipts for donations.

Displaying and pricing all merchandise to be sold in the store.

Handling sales at cash register.

Having the store open during the advertised hours.

Ensures quality of merchandise and pre-sorts items for salvage

Meets daily production goals or team goal as approved.

Occasionally assist customers by answering questions and providing excellent customer service

Maintains in compliance with safety and housekeeping practices and expectations.

Maintains a professional and flexible attitude; Willing to take on different job responsibilities.

Promotes the mission and values of Sunshine Acres

Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

High School diploma or equivalent preferred

Prior retail, production, warehouse, material handling or customer service experience preferred
